Apparently I’m taking a break from posting dinner and dessert recipes. I didn’t plan it this way, but after posting my smoothie recipe last week, and making my weekly batches of granola and yogurt, I’ve decided to post a few of these recipes. Maybe it has something to do with the days gradually getting longer now. The sun is rising a bit earlier every morning, and there is a faint promise of spring in the lighting and in the air…it just makes me want to start every day right…and part of that includes a nutritious breakfast my whole family can enjoy.
Hubbie likes to eat this granola with homemade yogurt, honey and fresh fruit…kids eat it like cereal, in a bowl with milk, or sometimes right out of the jar. Either way, its a guaranteed hit, crunchy, sweet and filled with dried cranberries, shredded coconut and pecans.
